Go With a Gift Basket

This was written for a client in Hungary who helped his customers improve SEO.

When my friend Janet re-marries in August, I’m taking two unique gift baskets to the reception: one for her and one for Tom, her husband-to-be. They’re both in their mid-forties and are not in need of the typical wedding registry gadgets. I think between the two of them they probably have 2 complete sets of everything already, including fancy china and cutlery. They’ve actually been selling loads of extra furniture and household items that will not fit in their new home large enough to accommodate their combined 5 children.

I think I’ll get them bath and spa gift baskets so they can pamper themselves in the deluxe two-person Jacuzzi they bought as a wedding gift to themselves. I love how they’re much more into practical and functional gifts than many couples about to marry tend to be. Some say that attitude comes with time and experience. I think it is refreshing to find a gift for a friend, like a unique gift basket, rather than feel obliged to select from a long wish list of things like bath towels and serving dishes.

My friend and her betrothed are unique and fascinating individuals. Their wedding gift from me will be just as unique and amazing.
